Presentation of Dr. E. Ferrari
The author, Daniela Asaro invited me to write a presentation for her book, which I consider to be really important as I am used to writing in a more technical and commercial manner because of the demands of my profession. Therefore, to me it seemed more appropriate to express a personal opinion on “our and my world”, especially on the Monza Racetrack and on motor sports in general.
Last year I met Daniela in the Monza Racetrack offices. Amidst her easy way of talking, her curious and observant glance, I discovered the spirit of a real “fan”, who has a passion for the world of sport, who tries to enter into the identity of the different personalities, who wants to know them personally (a thing which unfortunately is not always possible), to be able to appreciate the quality of those who exceed the limits, filling his/her own life and that of the spectator with adrenalin at the beginning of every competition, whatever it may be, and sharing the longing to enjoy the victory with all of them or in the case of a defeat, wishing to do better in the next meeting.
